Boxing Day

What ever is left of Indai Maie's signature Carrot cake with icing which she brought this morning. Uchu Mary, Gwen had a large chunk of it;we thought she couldn't finish it but she really finished it.

This morning,as usual I woke up around 5.30am ; switched off all the lights and took out my precious rubbish bin before the rubbish collector came to collect at 6:00am. I had an early night last night because my feet swelled after hours of standing & moving about. The next thing to do was to put away the washed plates, pots & pans to where they had been before Xmas day but I haven't got around to doing it...just thinking about doing it.

I had visitors today in the form of Indai & Apai Maie,Sudan & Igat from Bintulu before they left for the airport to send Sudan off to Jogja & about mid day,Uchuku & family came. We forgot to take photo laban Uchuku had a lot of cerita sensasi to tell until I forgot to take the camera out.

It's a lovely day outside;no rain,just plain sunny.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Discipline in church...............

Sunday 23rd Dec

I wish the Ini(s) & the Aki(s),the Apai(s) & the Indai(s) would discipline their grandchildren or children when they are in church. Like this morning, at the entrance of the church, the children were busy playing, making noises at the top of their voices.I think the church wardens should tell them off. Children should not be allowed to stand on the bench & be given junk food to eat, dirtying the place. One girl spilled her food & what did the parents do..still pretended that nothing happened. This morning, I had to signal to a girl playing at the 2nd row in front of me to sit down(of course without the parents noticing..) I felt like going over to her, probably pinch her on her big fat cheeks but on 2nd thought,I'd better not because her mum was about the same size as me. Some parents or well meaning aunties to the children, instead of concentrating on the service ended up kissing the babies/children,tickling them..aiya..leave the tickling & the kissing/smooching (?) until you reach home, lah. Another thing I cannot stand is when people put their legs up,resting their feet on the benches...especially the ladies. A few times my big fat bums got tickled by those short fat toes. A few sundays ago,2 of them answered the phone calls while the priest was doing the Eucharistic prayer. There are so many incidents but I'd better not continue otherwise some Ini(s) & a ----------would look at me with that "I'll kill you" look for commenting on their MANCHAL uchu.
Urrgghhh!! So disgusting,annoying & revolting!!!
Ya, I know Jesus Loves the little children to enter His Kingdom, but please give God the respect when one is at His House, worshipping. He said Little Children, not spoilt brats!
There goes my sunday worship.......

Rain Rain Go Away..........

It's been raining since 5pm this evening until now..8pm. I hope the rain would go away and come back some other day because if it continues to rain, most low lying areas would be flooded on top of the King Tide(something to do with the full moon, the sea water meeting the rain water..something like that)) which should start on 23rd December until 29th December,2007. I just got back from the weekend market and I pity the traders with their perishable goods because it looks like they have to bring the bbq meats & other cooked food back because there was not that many people at the market just now. Oh dear! The lady selling magazines was grumbling,"It always rains on Fridays..preventing us from making a living."she said.
I won't be surprised if it's going to be a rainy Christmas.
The rain has stopped now...& Astro programme is on again. Bye...

Turkey from Bintulu

Upon hearing that Indai Maie would be coming to Miri from Bintulu to fetch her daughter,Sudan, who's coming back for the xmas hols from Jogjakarta,I asked her to get 2 turkeys if any from Btu. This afternoon, I went to Marriot Hotel to collect the turkeys and the price is a lot cheaper than what we pay for in Miri. One turkey costs @RM77/-something like RM16.90 per kilo. She went to 4 supermarkets looking for the birds, that's why she said I was in luck when she finally got the birds. For Maie in Glasgow,if you are reading this posting, a Very Merry Xmas to you. Take care. .
