Each time I took my camera out,my subjects or victims said,"Alu di engkah iya ba blog nya lagi; gambar manah-manah,pansut ba blog; ti ku ka nemu cerita/happening (munyi jako nembiak rebak baru diatu) di Miri, aku macha blog iya,ko Mang. {My subjects or victims said that the photos taken of them would immediately be on the blog;each time I want to know what's happening in Miri,I'd read her blog,said Mang.} To Mang,lu jangan lupa belanja gua minum kopi sebab gua bagi lu cerita sensasi untuk pengetahuan dan juga hiburan lu.{Mang,you have to buy me a mug of kopi for providing & entertaining you with news about Miri}
Ngagai bala "Ai-ban ' ke gawa di menua Arab ke bisi macha blog tu lalu teperindang,tikau-tikau kitu sida daging unta,ambi ulih diroast kami.(To the Ibans reading my blog, working in Arab countries,earning obscene sum of money(I'm green with envy),send some camel meat for us to roast here. ha..ha..enda liat kini isi daging unta? Rebus dulu,dah nya roast ba oven begulai enggau ai,enda iya liat...Ulih ngaga camel pie. ha..ha.

Ngabang Day

Mang called yesterday evening to say that they'd just arrived in Miri, so I invited them for Hi Tea today. Nelly & her family came after visiting Rose Peter's/Pak Agus' Open House,which is just a 'stone throw away' from my house.(very near my house) About an hour or so later,Amoi, aka Sylvia(bini Fr. Stanley Bunseng) who happened to pass by,was told to turn back & have Hi Tea with us. We had curry chicken, roasted spare ribs,Shepherd's Pie,roasted leg of lamb & salad. The Shepherd's pie was the first dish to finish,agi belala bala.Uchuku & daughter in-law were disappointed when I didn't prepare the dish yesterday. Nel,as soon as she entered my house,said to her children,"Bisi aunty Jenny ngaga Shepherd's Pie." Mang & Sylvia also said the same thing. Ila meh Uchuku,aku ngaga.

Sylvia aka Mrs. Fr. Stanley Bunseng,Aaron,Brian,Dossier,Sarah & Nelly,seen slicing the roasted leg of lamb. Menu for today was Shepherd's pie ( a favourite dish which usually comes out only during xmas time),roasted spare ribs,curry chicken,roasted leg of lamb & potato salad. Rindu meda bala kami makai tadi,nyentok ka roti tandoori naan abis dipakai kami gulai butter & gula. Mana tidak baka size sida sumo wrestlers. Manis utai diempa bala maioh. Tell me where you bought the roti,ko Amoi,since the children like them so much.

Beginilah cara kitai nisil daging bedus maia aku nyadi peserta ba Hell's Kitchen,ko Makcik Nel.

This is the way to carve the meat;learned it when I was one of the participants at HELL'S KITCHEN,said Nel. Amat nya,Nel? Endai,kati ko enda amai!

Then, peda chunuk-chunuk tudah Fr. Kenny Tan & Deacon Alfred Damu datai; came after visiting Rose Peter's/Pak Agus' Open House. We had a nice time,talking & laughing.

Skim nupi kulok

Nya meh gamal roast kulok ke disedia ka aku maia Xmas. Aku bisi nguji ngaga ham kediri empu. Asai kasam,ko D tang enda kena gambar aku.
Pakcik CD sabilik ordered roasted turkey ba Ma Baker for RM198/- Murah bah itu,baru berapa USD$. Tulang ti ulih di empa,empa meh ko iya...ingat kamu baru saja chabut 2 gigi 'gum' kamu.(ko indai yok). Amat tetengok endar meh iya ka makai kulok. Aku bisi bepansa enggau iya,leboh iya ngambi kulok ari Ma Baker. Laju kereta di drive iya,senyum orang empu,nunjuk jalai ka ngagai Ma Baker. Ha..ha.. Peda kulok,enggai ka beguling ari kerusi kereta,ko aku sms asoh iya.(assuming kulok nya gali lakak-lakak ba car seat) Nya kami duai ka nuduk ka skim nupi manok kulok meda kulok nadai & very mahal. (mahal nemu aku reti..tang 'very' nya enda aku nemu,ko apai -----?)

Boxing Day

What ever is left of Indai Maie's signature Carrot cake with icing which she brought this morning. Uchu Mary, Gwen had a large chunk of it;we thought she couldn't finish it but she really finished it.

This morning,as usual I woke up around 5.30am ; switched off all the lights and took out my precious rubbish bin before the rubbish collector came to collect at 6:00am. I had an early night last night because my feet swelled after hours of standing & moving about. The next thing to do was to put away the washed plates,pots & pans to where they had been before Xmas day but I haven't got around to doing it...just thinking about doing it.

I had visitors today in the form of Indai & Apai Maie,Sudan & Igat from Bintulu before they left for the airport to send Sudan off to Jogja & about mid day,Uchuku & family came. We forgot to take photo laban Uchuku had a lot of cerita sensasi to tell until I forgot to take the camera out.

It's a lovely day outside;no rain,just plain sunny.

It's been raining most of the time and more stormy weather to come. We are doing just fine.
Everybody seems to be busy preparing for the Xmas get- together. I hope the rain would stop tonight otherwise Fr. Kenny would be celebrating mass to an empty church. I've got to go now..it's almost 8.00am. God Bless.
