Monday,Foundation's Day..public holiday..everything came to a standstill..no free Cat buses,the shops were closed except for the fast food outlets like KFC,McDonald, & Hungry Jack. Of course their menus are different from the ones we get in M'sia...they have the non-halal stuff added on to make the burgers tastier. How? No buses..taxis are expensive..so the 3 of us walked from City Stay Apartments to Parliament House,right to the city centre. As we were about to cross the road to the Swan Bell,D suddenly remembered he forgot to take his ubat tinggi darah..so what to do...we jalai back to our hotel. Apuuuu!!! Ti nya aku ke enda ingat,balat munyi bomb meletup..tang nya "The Boss" ke enda ingat. Rindu diri bejalai,semua teluk city nya di temu..ti asai ka tesat malik ngagai building Woodside,alai Inyau gawa,ari nya baru nemu kini kuing tungga bejalai.Udah D makai ubat,kira ke sejam udah nya kami mupuk bejalai ngagai city centre alu rembus ngagai Swan Bell meda ai,urang cycling & jogging.

Pukul 11 lebih pagi kami 3 nganti TT,anak dara May & Anum ngambi kami ngabang asoh sida. Datai kami ba rumah,tudah May agi kiruh ngintu utai & Anum benong ngauk daun ke melepung ba swimming pool. Ari manah endar..chelap angat.

Maioh diri bala ngabang asoh sida menyanak baka bala sida Bunai (ibu Malaya Berundang) & laki iya Eric,Menai & Ted,Sylvia,Leslie,Laura & Anthony,sida Regina ( bini YB Robert Chuat) & anak.Utai diempa & di irup maioh..nyawa ngumba endar enda ulih ngirup sida wine & beer...alu pedis pala. Maioh diri bala Iban raun begawai di Perth. Maia kami menyanak ka tama ke dalam bilun pulai,kami betemu enggau Mr. Isaka Kana & wife;2 iko laki Iban enggau WTK Tours betemu ba Harbour Town.

Naka tu dulu gambar ulih di ayan ke aku..very the slow one computer tu saritu. Pagila nyambung baru. Nite..nite...

Makai again....

I know that some of my 'die hard' Sebugey readers cannot wait to read my updates about my trip to Perth especially those in Perth. It seems to take 'forever' for the images to be uploaded so I'll just upload a few first.

The trip to Perth this time was mainly :EAT..SIGHTSEEING..EAT again,all thanks to Karen,May & Anum,TT & Brian and Fabian,Apai & Indai Fabian aka Betty & Inyau.

Ari ke terubah,iya nya 30th May,kami sangkai ba airport Perth kira ke pukul 8+ malam..udah lepas ari Immigration counter( sida nanya ti bisi mai food tau ke chinese herbs..nadai,ko aku) so we were let go earlier ari sida ke bebai ke food...dahnya maia kami ngambi bags dia deh indu urang putih Kastam siko mai ukoi raun nyium bags bala passengers. Udah ga bags di asoh sium ukoi,sekali agi ga tudah bags di check bala Kastam. Ti ulih ke enda anang sekali mai utai diempa..strict amat sida. Udah Kastam check,nya baru berasai nyamai ati..kami 3 lalu ngiga taxi mai kami ke City stay Apartment. Pukul 10 malam baru datai ba hotel.

Hari siti kami menyanak betemu enggai Karen ba city..apalagi kami menyanak makai dim sum at Northbridge Restaurant. Amat nyamai dim sum dia. Deep fried squids....

Udah makai kami 4 nguji kena train ari Perth Underground station ke Mandurah. Rindu diri kin tang maia nya first day of winter,ari balat endar ujan enggau strong wind ngejung ke bisi terganggu pejalai train kami.

Datuk agi ingat kediri kala nemuai asoh kami ti iya enda ngabas ibu iya Indai Amoi (indai Mrs. Virginia Mathew Benson).

Terbai ari Perth ke BSB kira pukul 11.15 pagi. Terengkah ba BSB kira pukul 4 lemai. Mupuk ari airport Brunei ngena van Albert Thambi kira ke pukul 4.30pm lalu nuju SupaSave di Seria laban Albert ka meli utai,dah nya berumban pulai ke Miri enggai ke enda enggau wedding dinner sida Jalin & Lydia. Ti ukai setegal nya anak 'enggong' (Terence) ke kahwin,tak enda aku beguai. Kami datai dirumah kira pukul 7.15 malam..mandi burung,dah nyau ngebu kediri ngagai Mega Hotel...just in time.... before the newly wedded couple entered.

Siti meja sigi di agih ke 'enggong' ke kami sebilik tang bala enda ulih enggau. Pengujung,kami duai D di asoh 'enggong' duduk ba meja VIP nya kebuah kita bisi meda kami 2 duduk dia selain ari 'enggong' ke kaban niang ini aku ari Rayah Ili,Julau.

Itulah cerita nya ti bala ke bisi enggau dinner malam nya meda kami duai laun endar datai.

Selamat Ngintu Hari Gawai ngagai semua .....

...bala kaban ke bisi macha blog tu ba dini-dini alai..wishing each and everyone of us a 'Selamat Ngintu Ari Gawai,Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai,
Chelap Lindap,bulih duit bulih ringgit,sida ke dara bulih laki,sida ke bujang bulih bini sida ke udah belaki-bebini mengkang rindu sayau ke pangan diri,bala anak asoh mereti, rajin pandai besekula ngagai universiti,sida ke bedau bulih kerja di beri endur alai gawa..........lalu berkat Tuhan enggau kitai belama.
Dinga meh sampi kami Tuhan ke minta dalam nama anak nuan Tuhan Jesus,Our Lord & Saviour. Amen.'
School holidays will start this weekend and I am sure many will be making their way back to their respective longhouses to celebrate Gawai in the next few days.We won't be celebrating Gawai in Samu like in previous years because we want to give the permanent residents of the bilik a break this Gawai..let them enjoy the gawai without stressing themselves to "serve " us. My sister in-law has been complaining of the rising costs of things and her hands which are giving her much pain despite after having been to the doctor's a few times.She's not doing much and also doesn't feel like doing much this year like making the traditional kuih...age is really catching up with her.The longhouse gawai committee has agreed that the celebration would be held on a moderate scale in view of the rising costs of things.This year,D & I will be taking Nico to Perth for the gawai hols..he was given 2 places to choose from ..he chose to go to Perth,so Perth it is...via BSB by RBA on 30th May til 6th June.We have booked to stay at CityStay Apartments which is just opposite Harbour Town Factory Outlet,a convenient location because the free bus (red cat,yellow cat buses) services ply along this route.Not a good time to go to Australia because currency exchange rate is AUD$1=RM3.05(+ & -) but why count or convert,right? Ke mana tumpah nya duit ayah/ibu kalau tidak kepada anak?..ko bala anak.
May updated me on the Perth Dayaks' gawai do on 31st May where quite a number of Kuching Ibans would be there. Miri Ibans most likely would not join them.Minta ampun,May & Anum,kami enda enggau kita..hari bukai ti ka mai nemuai tau ga. ha..TQ.
