after a little bit of confusion over the hotel booking,we were quickly ushered to our respective rooms and were told to have our breakfast at the restaurant. apalagi..what a lot of food! unlike the breakfast buffet we have over in m'sia,the food was plentiful..crispy bacon as in babi bacon because 90% of balinese are hindu. Even in jakarta,crispy bacons are served at the buffet table even though it's a muslim country. anyway,if you want to eat lots & lots of bacon for breakfast,go to denpasar. oh ya,our rooms were very nice and doria & hubby got to sleep in a bedroom with bed complete with mosquito netting ..kibong.. our hotel,ramayana is highly recommended for people who like to shop,look at people passing by.
plenty of shops,even marks & spencer is just down the road in a mall,coffee bean and plenty of spas.security is tight,so feel safe. everybody that passes by goes through some security checks. we shopped til 10pm..kuta is just waking up..mat sallehs everywhere. now,i know why the mat sallehs love to go to bali..people esp in kuta are courteous & hospitable. hardly saw any old taxis in denpasar. their vans & taxis which look like our recently launched blue proton sagas are a lot decent looking. they are everywhere waiting to send you from point a to point b.
