HO HO HO..Merry Xmas ari aku ba menua Kuching. How was the Christmas midnight service/morning service in your area? Kami menyanak nadai nurun sembiang laban kereta sewa ke kena kami enda mukai mukai enggai start malam 24th. Ari siti enda berani ngena kereta enda alah stranded ba jalai raya..nambah agi ari ujan. Excuses excuses...sigi betanduk.
On Xmas day itself pama diri pengabang kami including indu orang putih siko ari California di bai Angking,anak menyadi apai Jill. Indai Glaydis(anak betunggal apai Jill ari Bukut,Balingian) & laki iya pengabang ke dulu datai;pengabang ke penudi endar malam di malam iya nya neighbour kami. Laban ke diau enda jauh ari Green Heights Mall,pemakai omputeh nya meh dibantai. Bisi Cold Storage ba dia nya meh rindu meda sida ham,macam macam ham,sausages,salami,turkeys nyau tegaring empa pemaioh & macam meh utai di jual urang dia.
Saritu tadi bala sida Uncle Nyaring ngabang. Kemari enda sempat begambar;tu tadi bisi begambar. Tu tentu masuk ba blog,ko bala sida Uncle Do. ha..ha..padu hal bisi macha blog aku sida tu..rindu meda gambar ko uncle Nyaring.Pengabang ke nutup tirai open house ari kedua iya nya bala sida Fr. Dennis Gimang & sebilik. Au,pagi tu tadi kami breakfast ba kedai kopi enda jauh ari hotel Grand Continental lalu bisi betabi enggau Apai Enduq benong macha bup The Little Iban Warrior ti baru di sua ke writer nya ke bisi sama ngirup ba kedai kopi nya.
Nama agi cerita? Condo living is not for me....jauh nyamai diau ba rumah malai tanah,enda ibuh turun tiki niki tangga.

Gosh! It's Friday again.....

..aiya so fast one,it's Friday again. About five ladies came to my house yesterday afternoon to see a demo on how to make cream coffee,trifle,beef stew & roast lamb shank. I had to make do with electric oven & the roasted 'baby' turkey ( we had chicken,instead) turned out well. I followed Jamie Oliver's style of putting butter & bacon in between the skin & flesh. Ya,nice..juicy. So if you visit Kate Kiai & Girl's house,Cecilia's,Benika's & Doria's houses for Xmas,hopefulluy you will get to eat the dishes mentioned above. Cuba..jangan tidak cuba recipes xmas. Ila meri sepikit.

ching..ching..ching...this year the mood to ching ching ching is so..so..so lah if you know what I mean. Despite the fact that 4 legs of lamb,one turkey,several chicken & a few kilos of beef had been consumed by friends in my house the ching ching mood was not that into me then until Mary played some good old xmas songs over MiriFM during lunchtime & Cath Apau went on the air to share her xmas fruit cake recipe. Last night,after having dinner with some ladies at Miri City Foodcourt,a few of them stayed on asking me how I cooked the leg of lamb that they had when they came for the poco-poco practice. So I told them how I did mine;rub some salt & seasoning,mustard,lemon & garlic,rosemary & then put in the oven. So they suggested that I do a demonstration on some omputeh xmas dishes. So I told them that I would think it over.

This morning,I somehow had this funny feeling that I needed to check on my oven & true enough.......Sorry ladies,I just checked my 22 year old oven(got 2;one kaput a few years ago & they are as old as my house); the working oven a few days ago is not working. What a time to get rosak.

Anyway,pulai ngagai cherita kami di malam,bisi 2 or 3 iko bala madah diri bisi book turkey ari dynasty hotel. Enggi Girl,2 iko ko iya. Last year sekelip mata turkey abis,nya order 2 iko taun tu. Doria order siko ari Ma Baker,ko iya. Ngagai bala ke enda tergiga ke turkey ba supermarket tau ke cooked turkey nya mar,you can substitute it with a big size manok. Nyau limpang mimit tu...bisi indu 'Arab' siko pulai ari Saudi madah kediri selalu macha blog aku,madah ke maioh2 turkey tegaring ba supermarket sida din,ko iya. Bisi ngenang nuan aku,ko ia tang nadai cara kati ka mai turkey nya. Thanks for the thought,anyway. Au,manok nya tau meh di roast kitai baka kitai roast turkey. Udah iya mansau,gerinek enggau sida potatoes,sausages & bacons. sssshhhh nadai bala pengabang nemu nya manuk,kumbai sida kulok ti di gaga nuan baka nya.(i.e if you finish the turkey)

Nama agi cerita? Udah meli wine kita? I love drinking but I am a lousy drinker. Just 1 sip & I'd have this throbbing headache for a few days so I have laid off drinking wine. I just stick to good old COKE. I have got 2 early xmas presents from my good friends,Hong & Awangku. They both know my fav drink is Harvey's Bristol Cream Sherry & every year I got one bottle each from them..sometimes 2 bottles from Hong. Thanks to Hong & Awangku for the 'tonic'. Normally the omputih old ladies that drink sherry...

Kalau datang lagi,jangan lupa bawa satu botol lagi! Murah bah itu di Labuan. Ha..ha..Thanks Hong & Awangku. ( Awangku,I know you'd be reading this....)

Pagi tadi kira ke pukul 9.30 bala ke 4 kali udah practised poco-poco mantai ke bungai2 poco poco ke di ajar guru tarian,ianya Puan Phylis Muda. Group SIDS group ke number 5 pansut mantai ke bungai. Manah diri ke tanda sida semina sida kurang tuchum/senyum & nadai tukar tempat,ko hakim. Nyadi result semina ulih ditemu lemai pagila. Barang sapa/group ni ke number satu,sida di pinta berpoco-poco baru lemai pagila.(opening act Gempak MiriFM) Bala sida Mila bisi enggau urang belagu lemai pagila. Datai,anang enda datai. Endor MiriFM ke gempak nya ba carpark Indoor Stadium.
