Last night,8th November,2007, Piasau Home Cell Group held a farewell dinner for Fr. Stewart Janggot & Fr. Edward Enggu and their families at Kok Chee restaurant, Park Hotel. About 50 of us attended the function.
Fr. Stewart Janggot will be transferred to Abok not far from where he comes from. He was told that the number of people who do go to the church in Abok is 10. There is no electricity supply to this area and the generator is operating from 6pm to 10pm,meaning the little necessities like having the fridge & television will be quite impossible for them to enjoy. His other worry is his little girl who, since last year has improved so much in her spoken English (thanks to 'giraffe')would miss out speaking English with the children who attend the saturday afternoon church activities . Both father and daughter speak English to each other.
Next is Fr. Edward Enggu, who will be transferred to Saratok while his family will still stay on for another year because his wife cannot get a transfer yet and his son will be sitting for his PMR next year.
We wish you well,Fr. Enggu & Fr. Janggot!
