Da..da..da..da..daa.....it's finally over ..the gawai celeb. Gosh! Well, as with any function no matter how well planned the event was there was bound to be some kind of 'waiting'. Apart from waiting for the guest of honour to come about 2 hours later the programme took off smoothly from then onwards. The food when we did the food tasting was yummy but last night's food was enda nyamai and the portion was small. I wouldn't be surprised if people had cooked maggi mee after the function.

There was a last minute rush for tickets;parents of children who received the incentive awards and people who wanted to have a good time this year, scrambled for tickets. A lot left disappointed because the place just couldn't take anymore tables & chairs.

DP Tan Sri Dtk Chan gave away the prizes to the Keling while Datin Winnie Sagan gave away the prizes for all the kumang categories. The stage was small,so you can imagine about 30 people standing on that platform,not much room to move your butts,so to speak.We did our best..thanks to all who were involved especially the Kumang/Keling sub committee & sympathisers. We finished at 12.45,I think,but I reached home @1.30am waiting for the Kumang Iban to finish posing on my pua kumbu which was placed over the 'throne'.
