..that sums up the feelings that Justin & Shirley have for each other as yesterday morning, relatives & friends saw them walking down the long aisle of Good Shepherd Church,Lutong..to say, "I DO."
Yes, there was another wedding dinner last nite at Imperial Ballroom, Mega Hotel where Justin, the son of Mr. Christopher Jupong & his wife Helen Mu, married his sweetheart, Shirley, the daughter of Mr. Stephen Chang & his wife,Theresa Jutie. The ballroom was packed by relatives and friends. I hadn't seen Stephen Chang for quite a while and despite having suffered a stroke,he managed to pull it through doing what a parent of a bride's supposed to do. He did his job well, though at times struggling to keep both feet on the ground during the wedding dinner. I wish him well..still hasn't lost his sense of humour. As for Jupong, the father of the groom, he's ever the pleasant Mr. Nice Guy ever since I knew him back in the 70s when we used to see him & his cousin walking to the Lutong Cinema most weekends when they came down from Seria. He is always full of smiles and he led a group of men to dance the poco-poco.

If there hadn't been the presence of the newly wedded couple, the function could well be mistaken for one of the dinners organised by Good Shepherd,Lutong. Why do I say it? The kaki tangan /al -wakil al-wakil made up of church members, the mc,Edwin Samat except there's an extra mc in the form of Cynthia, the poc0-poco dances by the Women Fellowship led by Mrs. Esther Rakesh & the Men Fellowship dancing the poco-poco led by Jupong & the crowds, apart from the relatives from Kuching. A presentation of the Shuffle by Bryan..with his friends. A few singers were called to the stage including Lily Dosson, Josephine Augstine,Phyllis Muda,Esther Rakesh & Ranggau.
What else do you want to know?? As usual, after a few snaps,my camera batteries mati,so no more photos for you. That's all for now, folks.
