Flowers & Lemon Meringue Pies

Mother Lemon Meringue Pie

Baby Lemon Meringue Pies

I thought I'd do some baking before the packet of lemon curd and the pastry that I did before Xmas expire. Actually all these things are quite simple to make..not that time consuming but the problem is that sickness called "MALAS"/"LAZY" that's stopping me from doing all these. It'd be nice once in a while to have home-cooked or home-baked goodies on the table for dinner, lunch & tea. Don't you think so?

Endu & I could not resist buying a few stalks of the orchids @RM1.20 each & the cherry blosooms @RM3.00 each at the Super Saver Shop at Boulevard Hypermarket. Joy comes just by looking at the flowers. There are sooooooooooooo many nice deco to usher in the Chinese New Year especially at Siong Lee's. I have enquired about the red lantern and I'm thinking of getting them this evening. See how it goes.....

Must see place for 2008

1. Bali
2. Bangkok
3. Melbourne
4. New Zealand

My wish list of places to go to for this year 2008. Remember, it's only a wish list.
My friend, Hong, who went to Bali with his family recently said that he had a nice time there. They stayed at a villa cum hotel with their own private swimming pool. In his email to me,he said there was so much to see, nice beaches, beautiful sceneries, modern city, culturally inviting, etc. Shopping pun bagus especially for the aunties. Good place for aunties to shop. People are friendly..always try to sell something.

how about it?..@ RM1,500 by Royal Brunei inclusive of airfares, hotel accomodation & airport transfers.(3 nites' stay)

Bangkok...put on hold,first.

Melbourne........would be nice to go there.

New Zealand........Alice phoned on Saturday to say that she's booked her's & Peter's plane tickets to NZ using Royal Brunei & that the rest of the gang who went to Perth last year, are contemplating going as well.If you get the tickets by the end of the month,it would only cost RM2348/-rtn she said. So, she gave me the details of her travel plan and asked me to convey the message to D. And what did I get for conveying the message? A sub-machine gun or was it a M16 fully loaded with ammunition went...tra tat tat...tat...tat...tat..tat..no money...taxes to pay..tra..tat..tat..tat... it went on & on. Finally,BOOOOMMMBBBBBBBBB!!!! Ya lah, yours truly kena bomb.......

BUT I know the 100% must GO destination would be SAMU come Gawai. It is a MUST GO destination......no matter how heavy the taxes to be paid..there is always a budget for it.

Sorry Alice, perhaps another time. Ha..ha...
