In & around Ramayana Resort & Spa Hotel,Kuta

at the entrance of Ramayana Hotel

Shopping Mall down the road

Shops nearby the hotel selling T shirts, souvenirs, etc.

Standing next to a statue in the garden of the hotel

Another part of the hotel's garden

Endu seems to be saying,"Bintang beer is good for you." ( Actually,it's just a Fanta orange drink.) Kate & Khalo posing while we were having dinner at another outlet of the hotel called 'The Stadium' where football enthusiasts can watch football Live on the big screens. The steak sandwich which Endu had was/is highly recommended.

We couldn't resist posing on our way to our rooms.

Just to show you some more nice Balinese furnitures.

Standing next to another Balinese centre piece

Home Designer/Deco goods

On our way back from the padi fields, we passed Mas ,a village where you can see all the beautiful home decor shops lining the narrow road on both sides. Yes,this is the place where the craftsmen, woodcarvers, workmen, carpenters make, show, display and sell the goods that one see in all the homes that are shown in Home magazines. Oh..oh..the lamps & lamps shades..the furnitures, the garden houses, statues, the mosaic glassware bowls,vases..you name it. So..so..so..very..very..nice. Boomerangs & most of the aboroginals' products on sale in Australia, I believe, come from Bali.

If I had the money to go to Bali again and also the money to buy, I would waste no time to go to this village to buy all the nice home decos. Saw several containers being loaded with the goods.

We were rushing for time so we did not make a stop there..just passing by.

I think the trees that we saw were Jati trees, being felled by the men to make statues of Buddhas, cupboards, the giraffes, the cats & lots more for exports.
I have to go..ka tindok..bendar endar nusoi ensera.

Seafood Dinner @ Jimbaran Beach

Also included in the tour package by RBA was a seafood dinner at Jimbaran Beach
We're each given a flower to put on the ear and here you see me digging into my purse for some rupiah to give to................

Grilled mix seafood
Flower Power

While waiting for dinner to be served...............

Tables & chairs nicely laid on the beach..no mosquitoes..indeed a very nice setting.

I was digging into my purse to give the singers some rupiahs for their effort in making our dinner at Jimbaran a memorable one.

Madu di tangan kiri mu,racun di tangan kanan mu..aku tak tahu yang mana akan kau beri ke pada ku
aku tak tahu yang mana kau akan beri ke pada ku.......
aku beri kepada kau IDR50,000/- plus another IDR10,000/- from Kate for serenading us with three songs.

Wait til you see who happened to be on the same beach with the Ibu-Ibu? Jamie Oliver?..nay..Anthony Bourdain?...nay...Keith Floyd?..nay...
Eh....Chef Wan..Chef Wan,I called out as he approached our table on his way to the table next to us. So we said, ambil gambar..ambil gambar. Nanti dulu ambil gambar, makan dulu, said Chef Wan.
A few minutes later he came over. He was together with his mum and some Ayamas people shooting new recipes at the Ritz Calton, down the road. He was very pleasant and spent several minutes joking with us.
Wah.. nampak macam tak ada pergi mengundi ni,ko iya. Ada..ade..pagi awal -awal kelmarin dah pergi mengundi..baru sampai pagi tadi,ko bala nyaut iya.

Nya meh cerita..................dinner ba Jimbaran Beach. As far as the eyes could see,the beach was filled with nicely laid tables & chairs. The waves coming in and out as if they were about to hit at you but stopped short of washing you out to the sea.
