Bali Hi!!!!

Remember me? Iya ke kuat amat ka beganjuh...the one who likes to 'hanng kai' in cantonese or galavanting in jako orang putih/in English. I am in the midst of organising a trip to Bali for fellow friends who,for most are travelling outside of Malaysia for the first time. Initially, about 15 of us were supposed to go but after the pee-eng announced the dissolution of parliament, the number has dwindled to 8.They asked for a later date but of course, no more seats available on RBA. One of them wants to campaign for a friend in Sri Aman if the friend jadi dicalonkan as candidate. The other one has to turun padang to campaign for her big bosses and of course the bodyguard has to cancel her trip, too. Anyway, the travel agent called to say that the tour package has to be paid latest by tomorrow..so we'll see how many would actually turn up tomorrow to pay, after hearing this evening's news about some tremors in Sumatra.. For those of you who are reading this blog and bisi ati deka enggau to Bali, please feel free to join us. The whole trip costs RM1478/-inclusive of Brunei airport tax. The Bali airport tax will be paid there. The trip will be on 8th march @11pm via Brunei and returning on 11th march. Ya..just a short trip.
Since there's so much said about Bali, I just want to see it for myself. Mick jagger & jerry Hall went there for their wedding though it was not recognised. The late princess Diana also went there and other celebrities. Fergie, the Duchess of York also ever went there. Just curious..want to find out.
There are a lot of other places that I would like to see and for the other ladies as well. Most of them who are coming with me,baru bisi passport... not that they do not have the money to enjoy seeing places but their only destination that their husbands always take them to,would be to pulai ke menua. Year in year out, pulai ke menua.( go back longhouse). Tukarlah destination.

Last Sunday, we had lunch at Kenny Roger's, tHE SPRING. Ya,lah..a lot of nice eating places at the Spring but being a 'chicken' lover,we opted for Kenny Roger's. The price is something else..but what the heck, right!!! if it gives you satisfaction. You see, Ini Christopher smiling thinking about the chicken.

Ageing

I have not been feeling well, lately. I blame it on my hormones working against me. In short, I am at that crucial pause of my life..the 'meno' pause.Ihave been 'popping' pills, vitamins, neuro vitamins, pain killers as in panadol & some other antibiotics. Vision Pharmacy is making tons of money from me because without fail I would go there at least once a day,if not for me,it would be for my mum or husband. My gums are 'shrinking' and I get gum ache every now & then, & had had to have a tooth extracted some months ago even though the tooth was still good. The dentist was a bit annoyed when I accused him of not doing a good job 'matikan' the nerves of that particular tooth..root canal something lah & it wasn't cheap. My body just keep aching for no apparent reason. AND I HATE it when friends say that it's "sakit tuai".
I used to say that when my mum complained of body ache..now I know that is not a kind thing to say. Be more sympathetic to people's plight or pain instead of the standard comment..Ageing..Udau tuai..sudah tua. What a thing to say!.
This morning ever since my mum has been seeing the doctor for her toe dressing for the past 3 weeks due to diabetes,I asked the doctor to examine me. I told him that I felt a sharp pain somewhere on my right arm especially at night. Last time I blamed it on the birds' pooh/tai burung because I had to wash away the dirt. Now I cannot blame it on the pooh. I was worried it could be something else because Cath described to me the symptoms she experienced before she knew she had breast cancer. I was quite worried that MCMC had not called back to let us know the result of the mammogram until late this afternoon when Julia called to say that the result is okay. Praise God for that... anyway about the pain on my right arm, I hope it's just some nerve pain.
The good doctor attending to my mum, Dr. Peter Lee warned me that I should lose weight and to control the food I take because the likelihood that I get diabetes is hIGH! No more COCA-COLA,..you name it..all the nice food is a NO>>NO>>NO.!!! I see my poor mum's toe is having a hard time healing but thank goodness her blood sugar count from 19 has gone down to 6.2 today. For this CNY she was only given a segment of the sweet orange & that she had to let it stay in the mouth for a few minutes before swallowing it. Itu limau tidak bagus..manyak jahat..ko doctor. Every food is JAHAT.

Death is universal. It happens to one & all.
It is only a matter of time. We are only separated from Gen by TIME. She is only going ahead of us. We are all going to where Gen has gone to...sooner or later.
..so said the Lord Bishop.
