Ngabang Day

Mang called yesterday evening to say that they'd just arrived in Miri, so I invited them for Hi Tea today. Nelly & her family came after visiting Rose Peter's/Pak Agus' Open House,which is just a 'stone throw away' from my house.(very near my house) About an hour or so later,Amoi, aka Sylvia(bini Fr. Stanley Bunseng) who happened to pass by,was told to turn back & have Hi Tea with us. We had curry chicken, roasted spare ribs,Shepherd's Pie,roasted leg of lamb & salad. The Shepherd's pie was the first dish to finish,agi belala bala.Uchuku & daughter in-law were disappointed when I didn't prepare the dish yesterday. Nel,as soon as she entered my house,said to her children,"Bisi aunty Jenny ngaga Shepherd's Pie." Mang & Sylvia also said the same thing. Ila meh Uchuku,aku ngaga.

Menu for today was Shepherd's pie ( a favourite dish which usually comes out only during xmas time),roasted spare ribs,curry chicken,roasted leg of lamb & potato salad. Rindu meda bala kami makai tadi,nyentok ka roti tandoori naan abis dipakai kami gulai butter & gula. Mana tidak baka size sida sumo wrestlers. Manis utai diempa bala maioh. Tell me where you bought the roti,ko Amoi,since the children like them so much.

Then, peda chunuk-chunuk tudah Fr. Kenny Tan & Deacon Alfred Damu datai; came after visiting Rose Peter's/Pak Agus' Open House. We had a nice time,talking & laughing.
