udah makai ba Mr. Ho's,ko tanya Del?

Del,a fellow jogger had been asking us whether we had tried the food at Mr. Ho's,of which we replied we hadn't done so. Yesterday I decided to try it out and off the 3 of us went,Endu & Janet. As we were about to enter,we heard a heavily Filipino accented waiter asking,"How many of you,ma'am?" Just 3 of us,I replied. apparently he's not the only Filipino around, several of them there. I guess the proprietor has to get English speaking people to wait on tables and at least for the locals some form of tertiary education. Saw a church member,Arikino, who happens to be an assistant manager there. The food was something I have always liked..bread & butter pudding ( highly recommended),sandwiches decked with bacons & ham. The following day, the whole family went there for lunch. we had sausages, crispy pork ala filipino & sandwiches. The prices of food are coffee house prices..they do have nasi lemak, curry mee & some other desserts. . They also have quite a cellar housing some of the most expensive wines & champagne bottles that I had ever seen in my life. No wonder Arikino was seen gently stacking the bottles as if his life was at the hands of the bottles. Break one bottle & it's considered sold. The prices start from RM250/- & above.
Over the weekend,it was packed as the place is not really big...but if you like to be seen dining at Mr. Ho's eating his fine foods, there are plenty of seats outside where the chances of you being seen by friends is greatly likely.
