We attended another wedding dinner last night at Mega Hotel between the bride Suzanne Laong, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Clement Etan & her groom Kevin Khoo, son of Mr. & Mrs. Khoo Teck Woon of Kota Bahru,Kelantan.Did Nik Aziz come? Nay,too busy. ha..ha.. Despite the rain, the ballroom was packed by friends & relatives who came from as far as Penang,S'pore & of course from Kelantan itself. The groom was all smiles when he saw such a huge turnout of his friends from his hometown & his work place in Miri who attended the dinner last night that he requested the photographer to take pictures of them together.

If I had not had the handshakes with the parents of the wedded couple at the entrance of the hall, the function could be mistaken for another church dinner because once we entered the hall, church members were at hand to welcome us & then followed by the emcee & mr. speaker. Like last week's dinner,it was the Taman Tunku's church members who helped out Alex & Rina. It is a good thing to give a helping hand to friends because this sort of occasion needs all the extra help for one never knows when one's daughter or son gets married,we may also need the help we can get. Right???.

Mr. speaker that night was Mr. Davis Jeram who went to great length to do the story telling about how & when the couple met. See whether I can summarise in two sentences...here goes:

They studied together at UTM,Skudai;cupid struck when a friend introduced Kevin to Suzanne to help her out with a project which needed somebody with mechanical engineering knowledge to come to the rescue. Like most people say, the rest is history....
