Smoked Salmon

Sorry ya...not smoked salmon..how I wish.....they are smoked tilapia & manyong...equally nyamai. Dip fish meat in soya sauce heavily laden with chilli & onions. Yummy!
If anyone is interested to buy smoked fish,let me know. A friend is doing the 'salai-menyalai' business. Prices of smoked fish range from RM15/-per kilo to RM18/- per kilo.

How many of you out there have seen Winter Sonata? Stairways to Heaven?Autumn in my heart? & that one about the ladies working/cooking meals fit for the royal household? I was and still am a Korean mini series addict to the extent that I spent hundreds of ringgits buying the discs. Ya..they're not that cheap. I used to adore that actor..that 'aunty killer' who acted in Winter Sonata...what's his name?..Bae Yong Jun (something like that)..his smile's enough to melt one's heart & I remember I was so crazy of him that I printed pics of him from the internet. amat SUT! My friend, Endu is another Korean mini series addict that the two of us even booked our tour to Seoul. When we were about to go,her father was taken ill & was hospitalised,so we had to cancel our trip. We had to pay RM100/- each for cancelling the trip. For Endu,the trip is still on..her husband's fulfilling her dream,knowing very well how much she loves all things korean that he's taking her to Korea in May. Lucky her!! "Anyong say yo...deh" Between the two of us,she cried the most when watching the korean mini series. A few times whenever I met her & her eyes were swollen & teary,I immediately knew that she'd been watching some kind of Korean series. Last time we used to cry when we watched Hindi movies at the Lutong Cinema...but Hindi movies're are nothing compared to Korean's. We cried 'buckets & buckets' of tears...I'm not kidding! Our eyes went 'bengkak(swollen) & red;our nose's red & runny (redder than rudolph's the red- nose reindeer's nose) & my blouse's wet from teardrops & 'hingus'/mucus. YAKS>>
I thought Winter Sonata was really sad but Stairways to Heaven was the saddest so far. ..the part where the step brother donated his eyes to leading lady,Choi...akai dai..sinu meda. "Ba nuan tuyu..(sut) .orang belakon nya..nuan nusah ati diri meda wayang,sida ke belakon,ketawa udah sida belakon," ko D. ( D said it's only a DRAMA/acting..why waste tears over it?,,the actors LOL after acting.)

Humble

About 5 of us yesterday had breakfast at 2020's and seated a few tables away from us were Datuk Peter Chin,YB Andy Chia & some SUPP party workers taking a break after doing their rounds of shaking hands with everybody that was passing by and also to meet the proprietors of the shops in Pelita commercial Centre. Correct me if I am wrong..I noticed the body language/languages of the some of the people seemed to be showing the 'couldn't care less' attitude. As they shook hands,they did not even look at the face of the candidate who was hoping that they would cast their votes for him. The scenario was an entirely different one as one would normally see when people anxiously let out their hands waiting for a handshake from them .
I got up to have a handshake with Datuk Peter Chin & YB Andy Chia. As usual,Datuk Peter Chin without fail asked for D's well being, as they used to be 'friends' before he became a YB. That,I thought was a very humbling thing to do..to remember friends. Yes, one would be surprised how 'friends' most times when they are already 'somebody' would not acknowledge one's existence. Take for example,used to know some people who later became waibees ...bumped into them when in Kuching,just a handshake & left..did not bother to ask 'how have you been? brapa iko anak seduai nuan diatu? Aku tu beguai,ila kitai betemu baru.' ( well,you know,say things like that lah.) I guess it's true that friendship only lasts when one is in contact with each other..same interests,same tastes,maybe,same political party or rather the right political party. I would like to see Datuk Peter Chin wins because, just by asking me how we're,he shall get -- vote.
This morning,I saw DAP's candidate,Mr. Fong doing his rounds in town seated comfortably in a jeep with flags all over the jeep. My thoughts went back to the time when he contested against YB Andy Chia & how he stood near the Pujut Roundabout waving at motorists passing by. In December,last year,Mr. Fong & a few DAP men even went to somebody's house for the funeral wake. Ha..ha..ha..The things politicians do.....from the cradles to the graves.

Chinese Restaurant ba KLIA

Aku laban ke bam,ti ngena MAS pulai mansang ke Miri-KL,it is a must to eat at the chinese restaurant ba KLIA. D enda kala ka makai dia laban rega Dim Sum dia mar. Iga enda tanti ke datai di Miri,makai dim sum ba 2020,ko iya. Tu tadi,laban aku tenguk ka makai ba restaurant nya ( selalu ngena Air Asia ke KL,nadai chance makai dia),I was more or less prepared to pay the exorbitant price of breakfasting there. Bisi sekali maia nganti flight kami ke Rome, Kath mai kami breakfast dia. "Lagi aku mayar mak Jill, opening ceremony credit card tu kitai,"ko iya. Reaction: Takajut/takanyit (munyi ko orang Sabah) iya meda bill. Ibu nuan tu enda entu ka muai peluang ti urang mai makai,ngasoh order. "Order dia meh Mak Jill,nuan nemu utai ke nyamai"ko Kath.

Pulai ngagai cerita pun tu tadi: Apalagi,order punya order,man, the dim sum was NYAMAI...quality lah utai. Like the above siew mai,the filling was fresh prawns with shark's fins, scallops,etc. The Hor Fun was heavenly. Aku ke ngorder & ke tenguk ka makai semua utai ke diorder aku nyau alah laban D ke enggai duduk makai dia. Iya ke enggai tadi,nyau nyuap penyuap..enda entu ulih ditagang nyingkau penyingkau & makai. Ulih aku ngeraup ngagai endor aku ke duduk bakul dim sum enggai ke enda ampit. Amat nyamai...rega pan boleh tahan mahal...'juta rega' munyi ko Abaw. Ti bala kuat makai baka bala aku enda ulih bai kia laban semua utai ka di empa magang.....nya meh cerita ke di nah aku ke kita kena mantup ke pengrindu kita macha blog aku.

Diabetes is BAD..& so are other diseases. My mum's diabetic & she's been visiting the doctor for a month or so now. It started with her trying out a pair of sandals which she wore for a few minutes & a day later a blister was seen. It swelled like a bubble gum,burst & then turned reddish & black. To all out there....not too much of the good things like chocs,cakes,carbonated drinks,please. My mum has lost quite a lot of weight after adhering to the doctor's advice. "Makan boleh makan tapi jangan makan banyak. Nasi putih jangan banyak makan. Sikit saja boleh makan. Bagus lagi kalau makan nasi merah. Kedai Pujut 7 sana ada jual beras merah tapi tidak juga boleh makan banyak. Ikan sama sayur saja boleh makan banyak."

While waiting for you know who,I browsed through the BPOST, read the part whereby one could check where one's polling station would be by typing in SPR space IC No & send to 33626 and that's the reply I got as shown above. I was charged 50sen for doing that.
Yeah..election fever's in the air.Read 2 articles in the papers the last 2 days where 2 reps of two Dayak based NGOs showed their support for BN. Just wondering..are NGOs supposed to do that? I thought not & so were a few people who read the articles. The most one would be allowed to do is to call on members of the organisations to come out/go out to vote,come polling day.

But then again...di malaysia, boleh sajalah.

Passed by Dewan Suarah this morning after sending my mum for her daily toe dressing and decided to look & see at the crowd of party supporters who were already there waiting for the candidates to turn up to file in their Nomination papers. Yes, it's Nomination Day today.

How come I did not see YOU filing your Nomination papers?
