A lot has been written on and about Tun Fatimah Hashim whose husband's Tan Sri Abdul Kadir's a former Law Attorney General at one time. I can't help writing about her after seeing her picture on the front page of today's BPost,(16th Jan) browsing through a recipe book which costs RM200/- in aid of orphans and single mothers' funds. The cookery book contains favourite recipes ever enjoyed by 4 previous prime ministers. Since she is Faridah's mother, I want to share with you what I know about her. What I do know about Tun Fatimah Hashim is the fact that her Serunding Daging's the BEST in the world because each time Faridah came back from her short holidays from KL,she never failed to share the Serunding Daging with me made by her mother. We ate the serunding with bread...1 to 2 loaves at one sitting. Whenever I see or think of serunding daging, my mind would flash back to the time the two of us ate the serunding daging and bread in my bedsitter. Yummy! Wonder if her mother's Serunding Daging's recipe is one of the favourites ever enjoyed by the 4 previous prime ministers.
